At Wild and Exotic we pride ourselves in meticulous attention to detail and the creation of memorable holidays that exceed your expectations. The advantage of bespoke travel is exactly that – you call the shots and we deliver what you want: if there is anywhere you wish to visit, any place you would like to stay or activity you would like to experience, then we will do our utmost to facilitate it.
On this website you will find a brief summary of those countries in which we arrange bespoke travel, together with a map showing key places and regions. We have listed destinations within each country that we feel should be high on your list of places to visit, and provided reasons for those recommendations, together with suggestions for the activities you can enjoy during your stay. We hope that you will begin the process of a Wild and Exotic holiday by contacting us by telephone or email to discuss your requirements.
During these initial consultations we will offer, without obligation, suggestions that are compatible with your expectations. If you are satisfied with our proposals we will prepare a provisional itinerary for you to consider, considering your budget and timeframe. Only after you have approved this itinerary will we ask you to pay a deposit to ensure space is held at your chosen destinations. The procedures from then on are described in detail under our General Info/FAQ tab.
We prefer to have you met and assisted for all domestic or private charter flights, and for English speaking guides to accompany you on any road transfers during your stay. However if you would rather hire a car, or take taxis to local airports instead of being driven by our staff that is fine by us.
We use the best and most knowledgeable English speaking guides for your activities, be they game drives or walks in the African bush, canoeing trips down the Zambezi River or exploring remote and beautiful regions of South America. We have resisted the temptation to bombard you with detailed information on the many camps, estancias, haciendas, hotels, lodges and spas we provide around the world. Most are relatively small and exclusive, selected for style of management, quality of service and location. Establishing the best places for you to stay from thousands available is an ongoing process. As a consequence the overwhelming majority of our clients report that their holiday expectations have been met or exceeded. Wild and Exotic have identified reliable travel partners from every country within our global portfolio, and have worked with many of them for over 20 years.
