The activities and destinations we represent have been constantly refined and reviewed ever since Adrian Dangar founded Wild and Exotic in the Millenium year. We began life organising riding safaris in Africa, but soon added a bespoke travel service to complement them, and currently organise bespoke travel to a diverse selection of countries across five continents.
Bespoke travel is exactly that – unique itineraries devised and planned according to your own priorities rather than ones that are “off the peg.” For that reason this website only provides a short and succinct summary of the countries we represent and the riding, fishing and fieldsports activities we offer around the world. To be sure of meeting – and hopefully exceeding – expectations we prefer to develop holidays in close consultation with the customer, and encourage you to telephone or email for the very latest availability and information on your preferred activity or destination.
We believe the best endorsement of our attention to details and customer care is to be found in the testimonials provided by our guests, which are displayed prominently throughout this website and at the end of every country and activity summary. As they bear eloquent witness, you can expect exceptional attention to detail on all aspects of your holiday planning. To this end Adrian has personally visited and researched the destinations and activities on this website.
In addition to set departure riding safaris we also specialise in arranging riding holidays for private groups departing on dates of their own choosing. Since setting up our own unique ride from Argentina to Chile through the Andes of Patagonia back in 2002, we have continued to research and plan itineraries that are exclusive to Wild & Exotic, most recently an extraordinary field sports itinerary in Pakistan. Our fishing holidays target game species in the world’s premier fly-fishing destinations and we arrange exceptional bird shooting at home and abroad.
Our remuneration is by commission from our travel partners, meaning that you pay no more (often less) by booking your holiday through Wild & Exotic than if you had booked direct, but with the benefit of more than a quarter of a century’s experience in arranging tailor made travel.
